Flower of the month ~March 2016~

HYDRANGEA

You can't go past it, it's big, it's beautiful, it's lush and so so versatile.

Hydrangea is one of my personal favourite's. You can do so much with it; fill wrist corsages with stunning pop's of colour, make it a stand out feature in your wedding bouquets or fill out flower arrangements with those big colourful puffs of blooms.

It comes in a huge variety of colours, which makes it easy to colour match to décor or wedding theme's. The only pitfall to the beautiful Hydrangea, is that it unfortunately come's with a hefty price tag.

If you're willing to sacrifice price for some dreamy looking bouquets/arrangements though, there is no better option then these stunning flowers.

If kept correctly, you should be able to enjoy your Hydrangea's as cut flowers for up to 7 days, if not longer.

To extend the vase life of your Hydrangea's, be sure to remove any foliage that sit's below water level, cutting stem's on an angle (this allows cut flowers to be able to drink without obstruction as opposed to cutting the stem's straight) and most importantly top up your vase with FRESH water every two to three days.

Hydrangea's are available through the summer/autumn months.

If you are interested in having Hydrangea in your wedding bouquets, or would love an personalised arrangement made featuring Hydrangea, please contact Kristy at Little Blossom Flower Boutique and she will be happy to discuss this in more detail with you.
